The force is weak in this team.
Lou did not listen to Vader. |

It is so obvious after all Lou's claims and lack of movement, that even the baseball guys from Cleveland know...

I will say I was super impressed with Hutton yesterday. He stood out to me. As a team they really didn’t play that bad yesterday at all. I mean it could have been a lot worse |

Unsurprising result, we're a loser point out of being tied for last in the division and conference. No Barzal/Pelech/Duclair for at least another month means this season is probably cooked from the get-go.
Lou should be looking to sell anyone that can be traded at some point this season, save for a miracle turnaround which is virtually impossible. I'm not sure I'm 100% on this thought yet, but if they're going to blow it all up then it may be smart to explore trading Dobson before they commit big money/term and trade protection to him. He'd generate a lot of interest and a very high price tag. |

Looking to sell would be the smart move chief. Even exploring moving Dobson is not a bad idea.

That's what I'm expecting. I don't think Lou is going to throw away the season even if it may be a better long term strategy. - JimmyP
This is incredibly selfish then and the owners need to fire him now.

Wahlstrom could maybe land them myself or another defenseman from my beer league team. I have a partial NTC though. No Talent Clause |

in the JHL, there are some cats and dogs that are pretty good on defense. i haven't put any horses into the game yet, but we could def use a seabiscuit back there |

I can understand this, but better to toss a season than the future. Things are not looking good for any sort of meaningful run this year.

Season is getting tossed whether they like it or not. Now if they double down on the stupidity we’ve seen for the last few years then they are complete morons. |

Yep! If the team started the rebuild a few years ago, they would be in a much better shape.

Twelve games in there is no way they are going to bomb the season. I get it we suck our penalty kill is horrendous our power play is even worse. We have a bunch of misfits on the 3rd and 4th line. Our defense can never stay healthy and I mean never. Still with all this Lou and Patrick aren’t going to be like screw it just lose boys. They will be a 500 hundred team at least and we will see some trades at the deadline |

The moment you trade a Dobson, you instantly start looking for another Dobson.
Keep him at max term. He’s young enough to still be top end when the retool is over. |

Can the next Dobson play consistent defense? Seriously, I think I agree with you, but it has become somewhat frustrating watching him continue to make rookie mistakes on defense. He seems to have regressed since Barry left, and has shown little sign of turning things around. And he turns 25 in a couple of months, he's not some teenager.
That's the end of my rant. He does bring some good offense. |
