I felt the Sens played a good road game. Admittedly, I did not have a ton of confidence once this team went down 2-1. However, this team seems to have more pushback than previous years. It was a huge win for confidence. They need to string a few wins together and I think you will see a lot more confidence from players and fans.

I don’t think we have seen the best from Ullmark. I don’t think he has lost this team any games, but he certainly hasn’t been the deciding factor in a win. Really hope DJ goes with him for a stretch of games.

Thanks for the blog.

The team is continuing to improve defensively. If the team can just put the same effort into games against below 0.500 teams as they can against the best teams, they should be in the mix for the last playoff spot. Ullmark had a decent outing and should get on a roll here soon. Replacing Ostapchuk with Pinto will be huge as the Ostapchuk line has given up too many shots on net.

This team has some real potential. They looked really good for the first two periods.
They took their foot off the gas, and Ulmark stood tall, something we were all waiting to see.

The key now is consistency. Show us skeptics that they really are different this season with winning some games here and now.

Excellent win.

The team is tracking the puck well all over the ice and has looked especially good in their own zone of late. Far fewer instances of opposing players left alone in the slot and much better forward support for the defence.

Toronto seems to be bigger/heavier than in the past.

Felt last night’s game was the best complete effort by the Sens in quite some time. It was interesting to see the Leafs come out so flat.

I am really liking the addition of Jensen. While I think Sanderson is the best all-around d-man, Jensen is that stay-at-home rock that this team has been craving. If Zub can his game back to the level he was playing at prior to signing his contract on a consistent basis, the defence will be in a very good place.

You can see Ullmark’s confidence improving in the last 2 games. There are no back-to-back situations until December 13/14. I’d ride him until the Sharks game on November 27. He needs reps.

I would like to see JBD in rather than Hamonic but even Hamonic has improved his play the last couple of games.

Will be interesting if the team can get a run going. They have shown flashes other seasons that were followed by slumps. 8 more games this month. 6 or 7 wins would go a long way.
