Raymond, Larkin, Seider and Edvinsson to build around as a core is amazing. DraftandDestroy character reignited my passion/love for this team but it would seem that even he has figured out that Wings fans aren’t worth the headache.

According to Eklund, there are rumors that Buffalo might be shopping Bowen Byram to get more scoring up front. I think Byram is pretty darn good on D and would love to see him in Detroit.

There are at least 3 or 4 rumored D on the market. My hope is a commitment from the office to get it done. Rumors, unfortunately, are like a fart. They usually stink, and if you push too hard they turn into crap

To the guy going on about the core we have to build around. Who cares. Most franchises can make the same, if not a better argument.

Hate to say it but Larkin has likely peaked and will at some point diminish.

Raymond isn't that special. A solid top line winer. There are 60+ of those in this league.

Seider is a nice 1D. But he's not a dominant Norris winner.

Edvinsson still has plenty to prove.

At the end of the day, Yzerman sold off a bunch of pieces, acquired a bunch of draft capital and cap space, but most of our draft picks have yielded very little, our cap space has been wasted on a bunch of mediocre veterans on inflated awful contracts, he's lost several trades, has nothing but inept coaches and scouts.

Before you label me impatient and spoiled, I'll say that I didn't expect him to turn us into a contender in 5 years. But we're making almost zero progress. In fact, we probably need to start over again. Trading Larkin should be on the table because we're 5+ years away from competing.

The coaching is mind boggling, to keep going to Husso and playing Gustafson should be enough to outright fire this coach. Both these players are not nhl calibre and to keep playing them is outrageous malpractice.

Patience? If his name were Bob Smith he would have been given the boots my fans and management years ago.

It does not take this long to rebuild. And the pieces he's building around aren't going to win you anything.
