With Mantha done for the year, maybe this gives the Flames an opportunity to bring up some youth to see how the play with the big club. |

Thanks Trevor.
AK43 goes down and shows he deserves another chance, hopefully he gets in against the Canucks and plays with Huberdeau and Pospisil. We all know the Canucks don’t like hitting hockey.
Coronato now tied for the lead in goals, great for him.
Kuzmenko needs a goal, he seems to be holding the stick too tight. |

I can’t believe the Flames haven’t retired #14
He did so much for this organization. His last year in Moose Jaw saw him lead the W in points and penalty minutes. What a gem.
He wasn’t the only player with a substance abuse problem. |

It’s disgusting the flames and the league have treated 14 the way they have !! He paved the way for smaller players with his scoring ability and the way he never took poop 💩 on the ice from anyone!!! |

Thanks for the blog Trevor!
Sad to see Mantha go down. I imagine they will try it out again next year. Seems like HuberD liked having him around.
Go Flames! |

So, take this for what its worth. This is the internet, and I have no way to actually verify it. I also have no reason to make it up.
A very long time ago I had cousin that did her practicum working for the Flames Public Relations department. We are talking late 90's.
She said that Theoren was a walking disaster back then. He was dating some psycho and they were constantly fighting.
One day, after a big fight she walked into the Flames Wive's room and proceeded to tell each of the wives what cities that their husbands had girlfriends. After that, many of the players asked to be and were traded.
Now, once again, I am not asking anyone to believe me. This is Hockeybuzz. But it explains why #14 is not in the rafters.

Theo did make some bad decisions. I wonder if two of the wives were Mrs Iginla and Mrs Conroy? |

So nice to get an unbiased broadcast... this was on par with an NFL production!
Yup time to lock Zary up for as many years as we can! |

It really was. Sportsnet execs have to be sweating bullets watching that. Even the ads were more tolerable. |

It was nice not to have the leafs and McJesus shoved down my throat during the broadcast.
Also nice to have a respite from the gambling adds. |
