Not a recipe for success when one of your best forwards is sitting because he’s not going. Myers also struggling, that first goal was a lazy clearing play by him that resulted in zone time and an eventual goal by Nashville. The whole team is really casual with the puck, it’s like because of all their success last year they think they’re better than they are. |

What the team needs is a bunch of games against the weaker teams in the league, like Chicago San Jose, Flyers, Flames, etc. Too many consecutive games against all these tough teams like the Predators and Rangers is a difficult run for any team. Surprised the Canucks are still in a playoff spot, after such a difficult run. |

Thanks, Yorkie!
That lapse after going up 2-1 was a big problem. It was a hopeful final 6 minutes, but they needed someone to play game breaker and it didn't happen.
Good to see Stamkos can still play hockey, at least. |

It feels like last year they overachieved and coasted and now they're still coasting but without Demko aren't able to get away with it. It doesn't help that their D is nowhere NEAR as good as it was as last year and save for Hughes and Hronek and Brannstrom (in a very protected role on the 3rd pair) aren't worth the money or assets spent for them. Myers, Soucy and whoever plays with Brannstrom aren't worth a hill of beans. |

The PDO machine is no longer running(20th in the NHL) and it makes for less entertaining hockey. We all knew the sky high shooting % was unsustainable, this is what it looks like when they come back down to earth. |

Well coach's pet getting sat is usually pretty far down the list of tactics to wake the team up. Seems like it's on the players now. Hopefully Miller shows his maturity and responds to drag the team into the fight next game. It can't be all Hughes, Garland and Sherwood. |

I think it might have been a powerplay or cycle shift where Miller put it back to the point (blindly of course) and the D-man wasn't there yet or had backed off. Then he just sulked classic old school Miller style and coasted off early. I remember thinking it wasn't a good look, then didn't see him much after. |

T.J. Miller must be such a cancer in that locker room. |
