He must be very good in the room. Likely passing out vodka shots.

Was rubbing shoulders with Chicago Petr last year, Igor was.

Ya, 31 in february ....he's not dead but wrong side of the curve.

So Leafs scoop him up at the deadline ...Ducks eat half and Leafs pay the price.

We tried boots.

The dog just laid down and started chewing them off.

- Atomic Wedgie

As a top notch dog trainer I can tell you that have to associate the booties with something good.đź‘Ť

You can try pulling his food for a day. In the morning put the boots on then drop his bowl or just start tossing treats to him👍🏿

This could take a week or two to get him to start liking his booties. He’ll love putting them on and won’t know why👍

if you want to speed up this process; put the booties on him then jerk him off to completion👊🏿

Hard pass.

Leafs would do better trying to fill in the 2C spot.

They need a middlesix C for sure - goes without saying. But, I wouldn't hate watching Trouba play some Baerubae hockey in the playoffs. I haven't seen enough of him and I know he's declined but IF he can be a good #4D with McCabe Rielly and Tanev at $4M and the price is right ....I'm not taking a pass.

Anyway ...we were just sports bantering ...it ain't happening.

lol. The leafs D sucked ass under Dubas. If Vaakanainen was here his stats would look like Liljegren’s ice time wise.

Stop thinking Liljegren is good, he’s defensively and physically weak as hell and only punches out 20-25P a year. A competitive team dropped him for a reason, and a lot of leaf fans at the time cried about it, not everyone, but there was a few.

Leafs are over exposed by Toronto media so every single player on the team is over-idolized or has expectations that are simply way too high.

Seriously, Matthews is amazing but anyone thinking he’ll lead the league in goal scoring every year are lunatics.

- Dozzer

What does lili have to do with vaak or this recent trade? I dont care about lili, hes gone and i never was a big fan. No one mentioned him until you dd.
If vaak had been in Toronto, he would have been a marlie i would have never paid attention to
Even with our crappy dubie D.
Mmm dubie D....oh no wait wtf!!

I’m already doing the math about winning in Pittsburgh to take 6 out of 8 points this week.

I know this is emotional management but they look just fine. Do they ever start that well? Looks like it could be a good game.

And, that's gotta be a penalty shot, no? He's away on his own.

ya ...just dug it up.

A penalty shot will be awarded for the following acts:
When a player is fouled while on a breakaway, and the situation meets the following five criteria:
The puck carrier is in the Neutral or Attacking Zone.
The puck carrier has possession and control of the puck.
The puck carrier has no other opposing players to pass (other than the goaltender).
The puck carrier is tripped or fouled from behind, or fouled by the goaltender.
The puck carrier must be denied a reasonable scoring opportunity.

57.3 Penalty Shot - When a player, in the neutral or attacking zone, in control of the puck (or who could have obtained possession and control of the puck) and having no other opponent to pass than the goalkeeper, is tripped or otherwise fouled from behind, thus preventing a reasonable scoring opportunity, a penalty shot shall be awarded to the non-offending team. Nevertheless, the Referee shall not stop play until the attacking team has lost possession of the puck to the defending team.

The intention of this rule is to restore a reasonable scoring opportunity which has been lost. If, however, the player fouled is able to recover and obtain a reasonable scoring opportunity (or a teammate is able to gain a reasonable scoring opportunity), no penalty shot should be awarded but the appropriate penalty should be signaled and assessed if a goal is not scored on the play.

But also:

) The player in possession and control (or, in the judgment of the Referee, the player clearly would have obtained possession and control of the puck) must have been denied a reasonable chance to score. The fact that the player got a shot off does not automatically eliminate this play from the penalty shot consideration criteria. If the infraction was from behind and the player was denied a “more” reasonable scoring opportunity due to the infraction, then the penalty shot should still be awarded.
