$120 per for 3rd row greens.

Other than that, prices are still waaaaaaay too high.

Go to the Keg on York Street and enjoy happy hour. Start looking to purchase at 5:15 pm.

Panic starting to set in.

Give it another 45 minutes.

What should I have while I'm waiting at the Keg - I'm thinking some Manhattans and a shrimp cocktail.

To this day the Nylander doubters are just mind-boggling to those of us who loved him from day one.

Gotta order from the Happy Hour menu:

https://thekeg.com/en/locations/york-street/menu

I'll just go with a beer or old fashioned - hell, at least one of each.

The wings are a good deal.

Can't go wrong with the prime rib sandwich.

I never understood the hate. Like everyone, I questioned his defense, his tenacity, and his caphit. But, I never wanted to shoot him into the Sun for it, and he's made a believer out of me over the last two seasons especially.

I like this Nylander and I like what Berube is doing.

My grandkid has theatre class tonight until 8pm. I'll miss part of the game again. His/our schedule is busy all month...

Neither.

I just have a weird obsession about Leafs tickets prices - and I can't stand people who say that tickets are thousands of dollars.

On any Monday-Wednesday, if you wait until an hour before game time, you can get tickets for well under face value.

I post the best deals I can find on Ticketmaster.

This is why I say: go to the Keg on York. Eat and drink off their Happy Hour menu, and just wait to pounce.

You can wait until 6:30, grab a pair of tix for a steal, and still be in your seats by puck drop.

Do you think this happens with all sports or just because it’s a Monday night?

The lions packers game is very tempting this thursday night. My buddies are lions fans and we have a couple packers fans including me. Tickets are still over $300. You think they would come down at all? Or go up?

What’s generally the most tickets you can get in one section? 2?

That keg dinner and sit till 630 is very tempting. But if you have a few guys you probably just end up sitting all separately.

I honestly have no idea - there's a lot of factors involved.

I sincerely doubt those tickets will come down - both teams are currently looking to lock down a playoff spot.

But I do know that for Leafs games, you can do this for any Monday to Wednesday game, provided it's not a popular team like the Habs or Buffalo or Edmonton. People think that Leafs tickets are still ridiculously expensive, but it hasn't been that way since COVID.

Here's another fun one I'm tracking: the Buffalo Bills' final game is in New England on January 5th.

There's a 99% chance that the Bills are going to need to win the game to secure a better seed for the playoffs.

The Patriots were eliminated yesterday.

So if you are a Bills fan (I am), you can fly from Toronto to Boston on the Saturday, and stay in a nice hotel in Back Bay (a neigbourhood kinda sorta like Yorkville) for two nights (double occupancy), and then fly home Monday.

The cheapest pair of tickets right now is $50 per (USD). But I guaran-franking-tee that by the Thursday of that week, season ticket holders will be dumping their tix. You will probably be able to get tix for $20, and sit wherever the hell you want.

Best part? There's a commuter train that takes you from Back Bay Station (2 minute walk from the hotel where you would stay) to the stadium - it literally drops you off in the parking lot.

Sadly, I can't make this trip, but I'm still obsessed to the point of it being unhealthy.
