I'm not sure. So tonight is the first time I've seen signs of elite skating from him. It's his 4th game; he's not overly fast, but when starts dancing on his skates, he skates similar to his brother. Willy makes it happen, Alex absolutely doesn't - but when you watch some of the flashes of that skating brilliance, you can see why scouts were high on him and why you thought he could be an excellent player.

Will he ever be more than this? It doesn't seem likely, but I'd give him a few more games to get his footing and then you'd know. He has to make something happen on his own.

The Power Play looks terrible - but so does it's shooter, Matthews. He's not himself. Spread it out over two, like they did when Matthews was injured. Put him on the 2nd unit. An elite talent on the 2nd unit would have an opportunity make that final 30 seconds count.
