I don't disagree entirely with your take but this is also coming from a Blackhawks fan. Chicago could be down 4-0. Conor Bedard is 0-9 on the dot and -3 on the night, but the highlight package is Conor Bedards one shot on net. Speaking of felating. - Mahewman
Fair point, I am more of a Tampa guy now, since 2015.
I feel for Bedard and the circus they put him thru. The league is fast forwarding to so many amazing young players from a marketing standpoint, imho, they could add a little more of the veterans who have actually won something...
But I get the marketing...you have a top 5 hockey market there...and the Bruins will always battle. |

What has really changed? The roster hasn’t changed much minus Debrusk & Ullmark. Added Lindholm & Zadorov. Similar team really, I would have thought they would be a little stronger this year. Should be stronger up the middle, but Lindholm has been bad.
I gotta think they maybe aren’t as far off as people think. A modest scoring addition to the top 6 would help.
Swayman has been dog &$/‘ which the Bruins haven’t had poor goaltending for close
to twenty years. Such a fine line in this league. |

Pretty sure what we have seen has been goaltender overperformance the last couple of years. Last year, some players stepped up and did their best to fill in for losses up the middle.
This year, its all evening out and I honestly believe you're seeing the ACTUAL Bruins now maybe even with some underperformance by the goaltenders. I dont think it gets better without major help/change |

Have lost all interest in the team this year.
Don't see them making the post season - even as a wild card team. And I hope they don't. Might force the rebuild (including coaches and management) that they desperately need. |
