Cam Robinson: I've had people reach out to me and say Pettersson isn't the only star on that team that's fed up with JT Miller...By my estimation there's only one other star on the Canucks and that's Quinn Hughes.
@sekeresandprice - Pacificgem
Everyone else on the team should shut the (frank) up and do whatever Quinn Hughes tells them to do. He's literally the most valuable player in the NHL this year and no one on the Canucks even comes close to his level. |

Geez, with a track record like that he should run for US president. - bloatedmosquito
The sexual assault charges alone would make him a shoo in for an executive position with the Oilers. The rest would be gravy. |

I mean he did call into a radio show claiming to be trumps friend and talk about how all his partners said he was the best lover they ever had |

It undermines the very real threat he poses to the safety and well being of the population, but imagining him getting up to elementary school level shenanigans around the White House has always made me laugh |

It was an interesting graphic. I wondered if the decrease in SV% stat reflected on more goals scored, shots for and against, PP and PK stats. This is what I found:
https://www.hockey-refere...ce.com/leagues/stats.html
It all correlates. SV% down. GAA up. Goals up. PK% down. PP% up. Power play opportunities are down even though teams are scoring more goals, which surprised me. - bloatedmosquito
Perhaps there's just not that many quality goaltenders coming up through the various systems. I mean, most of them are convicted criminals or psychopaths. |

Or the next messiah, wasn't Jesus a convicted criminal? Come to think of it, Martin Luther King, Gandhi & Nelson Mandela were also convicted criminals. |

EP40 has had a knee injury for over a year and there is data to support that it is still bothering him. Hurting, even if it only takes you 10% off your game, can affect your mental. It can make it hard to stay engaged or have the confidence to make the kind of plays you would usually make. That's my thought on the stretches where he hasn't been as good. There is also the whole social media thing which is well documented. - NorthNuck
All good but how long is that a viable reason? 11.6m matters for cap reasons. |

Here's a bit of a reality check because I like you. Myers is top 4. He does a good job up there. Soucy this year, not so much. I mean, you'll give credit to the team for hanging in there with all of the injuries. But you won't give credit to the players, like Myers, who filled in during their absence and held the fort. It's hypocritical bias.
You're delusional if you think Willander is gonna air drop from the Heavens and magically be able to play against the best men in the world. He'll be bottom pair, heavily sheltered, at best. More likely AHL to learn how to play against the other teams better players.
Be better. End rant. - Load Management
Myers is max top 4 needs a top 3 to help him. Yes cannot ride him hard as I do but game losing brain farts he stands out up there with prolly Miller. |

Address the issues that currently exist team-wide, start winning more games, and suddenly the cap isn't that big an issue anymore. It's fine to expect a lot out of your highest paid player, but make no mistake, the fever pitch the whining is hitting right now is not EPs fault, it's because the team is not winning enough. |

I'd like to do a poll. See who wants to trade Petey, trade Miller, trade both, or keep both. Honestly not sure what the end result would be with Canucks fans. There seems to be a nice fluctuation on this thread alone. - Load Management
Keep both. Petey young & good. Miller keeps the room not being full of pussles & need his power game. |

Nope. He hung in there like a champ with Hughes and/or Hronek out. He's only -1 at 5 on 5 this season despite this. If you think that's easy to do, or something Willander is gonna do coming out of college, I just don't think you know much about the position. Or your letting your bias blind you.
No, he's never gonna be a number 1 Dman and isn't going to be in the top pairing unless needed. But he's perfectly suited for the 2nd pair top 4 minutes. Because he's proven he can cover them as needed. Again, not easy to find. |

Without a top 3 we’re going nowhere another way to put it. Not Myers fault. Other D bottom pairing at best. |

Elliotte: Quinn Hughes has gained a lot of respect this season with the way he has handled everything. Players and the organization really feel like he has done an incredible job.

They need Soucy to get going and also to address the depth. The bottom pairing should have guys you can trust to move up the line-up from time to time. None of them have been able to when given the chance. |

Agreed.
Myers has done well in a difficult position.
I'm personally looking forward to Juulsen taking a seat.

Woah there, unless he beats Henrik for most points as a Canuck, he's not the GOAT Canuck and I don't see that happening. GOAT D? Without question, he already is just by winning the Norris alone but he's not going to beat Henrik, not unless he plays until he's 40 |
