I wonder if the league will review that. I missed it live but didn’t refs review it at all? Ie. call a penalty then review and reverse it? To me it looked like primary contact to the head.

The Isles had the worst PK and PP in the league. Powerplay scored twice and the PK killed all 4 of the Flyers opps. Surprising the Flyers won this game.

No one is giving the flyers any significant picks for Ersson. 5th rounder or something like that? Might as well keep him as he’s the only nhl calibre goalie they have.

My point is Tsyplakov needs to drop the gloves regardless of the intent of his hit. He concussed another player. If the roles were reversed the Isles would want their pound of flesh.

There is no doubt in my mind Torts wants to make the playoffs and is coaching that way. The fact that he has mentioned "pissing away points" several times already is a clue. Briere needs to just trade some verterans, bring up Andrae and more kids and give Torts no other choice. If this year is about evaluating players, they kind of need to play, right?

Problem is the year is not about evaluating players, you just blindly believe what the team and its employees in the press say without ever once using critical thinking skills to question why their words do not mesh with their actions

there never has been a doubt. that has always been the stated goal.

what players need more evaluation? this is essentially the same roster as last year. very similar to when torts took over. just all lip service when they say they need to evaluate. dumb flyers fans buy it.
