I wonder if Sabres may be a good fit for us to land a player or 2. Dubas is looking for younger talent Mattias Samuelsson, Peyton Krebs, and Jack Quinn all look like players who need a change of scenery. They also have Bowen Byram and Dylan Cozens who are also toping the rumor mill. I could see us making a trade. Someone like DOC may have some value to Buffalo. Also Graves may carry some value to Buffalo mayve a Samuelsson and Graves swap with a Pick attached? Or a DOC plus draft pick to Buffalo for Krebs and Quinn. |

If he only would have had that fight...to go along with the goal and assist. |

Alex Nedeljkovic's outward behavior… the way he stands, looks people in the eye… his facial expression indicate a team player. Just the opposite of Jarry.
Something happened between Jarry and the defenseman. Look at Graves play now - definitely improved.
Team attitude is BIG and Jarry, quite frankly oozed bad Ju-Ju. From his body language during the National Anthem to giving up a goal and staring down defensemen. Not good.
We all know you can't blame bad results on not having CHEF Carter anymore,,, there's a statute of limitations on that STUFF. Even on Jarry... let's give it till groundhog's day, eh.

I was watching this with my boys last night and when Ned scored that is the loudest they've ever cheered watching a game on TV. Goalie goals are just so much fun.
Ned isn't a great goalie, but he's a very easy guy to root for. |

I think this is why people like Ned despite him having similar results to Jarry. Doesn't seem to be much question about Ned's effort or willingness to take responsibility. Jarry, even his practice habits were blasted. Neither is the guy. That said, great night from Ned and I enjoyed it thoroughly.
I think Graves improved same as Hayes because he got scratched a ton, knows he can be again easily, and wanted to do something about it.
Eh, most people didn't think Carter was much of a factor positive or negative as a fourth liner. I and I believe many others would have liked to move on, but I don't think a lot of people were blaming him as the main reason they lost. He just came up all the time because of Grinder and to a lesser extent you, otherwise he'd barely be talked about. Kind of like DOC this year. |

Ned has as many goals as Nieto. That's plain laughable. |

You can tell the team loves him and rallies around him. Last season that was obvious when he led the team on that playoff push.
Not sure we make any kind of run again this year but I'd rather watch Ned and Blom in net than Jarry. |

I can’t believe no one is talking about the non response after Ned was decked? That’s not a winning culture. |

I can tell your boys are young. They never had a real hockey rivalry game to cheer for, with the way the league and penguins are trending they probably never will. I’m sad for them. |

Yeah, their memories so far are some bland seasons and no playoff wins, but they hopefully have 70+ years to go. The Pens will at some point be good again before this century is over. |

It's the body language thing. One guy shows some emotion. The other doesn't seem to care much. It's probably not fair since both kind of suck. I think most people would take a "battler" over a disconnected player.

I didn't notice that when watching it live. As soon as he shot it we just followed the puck. It looks on the replay like all the players did the same thing. They all turned to watch the puck ... then they celebrated. I wonder if they even saw that happened before the game ended? |

If he didn’t have to carry DOC around the ice he might even put up some points. It’s like DOC gets there but you know nothing good is coming off his talentless stick so you don’t want him to get there. |

Let’s double shift dead stick McGee while trying to tie the game with 7 min left. It’s unreal. |

I highly doubt we have the stock to trade for any of those players. Simon nemec would be another one to target too though. |
