Thank you Mr Newbury.

That was fun to watch. Enjoyed the animosity. Hope this team gets back on track once the cancer is removed.

“Bruins general manager Don Sweeney could already be regretting the seven-year contract ($7.75 million annual cap hit) he gave 30-year-old centre Elias Lindholm, who has been a massive disappointment with seven goals and 22 points in 46 games.”

PA has handed out some bad contracts, but at least he didn’t make that mistake with Lindholm.

Cancer Pouty traded yet?

Seems like forever that I have seen Poutys name on scoresheet, for actually getting a point, you know, things he is actually paid exorbitant amounts of money for.

Probably feels intimidated in the room and on the ice because Miller was mean to him and Miller actually has friends on the team.

Pouty is having a bad year on the score sheet. His first disappointing season. How does that make him a cancer? He’s a weirdo sure, but a cancer? Is he a cancer because other players a jealous of his contract? Is PA a cancer for giving him that contract?

Miller walked out on his team and his team mates. That is inexcusable in my books.

Good game propping up the 11.6m winger. Too bad tension hits the boiling point & changes coming. Retool it is.

Lafreniere and Schneider for Miller. Not sure how I feel about that but it definitely sounds like Miller is gone. Teammates even in interviews wild.

Need a centre to replace Miller. I don’t mind your trade suggestion, but it does not excite me considering Lafreniere’s struggles. If that trade happened, I believe it would mean that Boeser is probably next to go for a centre.

Would love Schneider here but not sure Laffy is the right return on the other side...NYR would need to add.

No way Miller fetches that. Three day boner if he does. That’d be an absurd return.

I’d then flip Boeser+ for Rossi

As expected, giving 5 million dollar a year, six-year deal, to Zadorov was probably not a good idea. This guy is a 3.5 million dollar guy all day long. But I'd take him as a third pairing guy on the Canucks at that price. The Bruins are a sinking ship, but they had a good run.

"He avoided punishment for his flagrant elbow to Johansson’s head earlier in the week, but this utter goonery should surely have a suspension attached to it – these types of players are dragging the league down."

I can't wait for Oilcum to blow his proverbial load over this statement...well done sir. Mcfemale dog gets away with so much crap it's disgusting, and yes he is also on the receiving end as well but that sneaky little elbow on Johansson was dirty and he knew damn well what he was doing.

IMO, Lafreniere is still a bit of a question mark. Does he ever live up to the hype? His career has been Meh so far.

Lafreniere has been a 50/50 bust in NYR? How is that an adequate return for losing Millers points?

Ya, he hasn't exploded, but he's also 23 playing on a team well known for not developing players well. He scored 57 points last year, I'm sure he'll grow on that. Plus the cost certainty as the cap rises.

50/50 bust? He's 23 and put up 28 goals/29 assists last year. He's not crushing it, but he's young and has a lot of room to grow. Plus you get a top 4 RHD on top of that. Would make that trade in an instance.

It's a decent deal and yes Lafreniere did have a decent year last year but wildly inconsistent around that. If we are giving up 100 points we just need a bit more coming back IMO.

Appears to be Miller. Miller is 32 and Petey is 26 need to keep Pettersson for sure over Miller.

The Rangers just do not draft or develop young players very well as an organization. Tim Stutzle should've went first overall but Laffy is 4th in scoring for his draft year and he was very good in the playoffs last year for the Rangers. I'd take him any day. But, if the Canucks are trading Miller they need a young center in the return, I would think.

I read an article about the Ranger having to make a decision between letting Kakko or Laf go. They decided to trade Kakko to Seattle for two draft picks and Will Borgen. Not that great of a return.

Aren’t they essentially same value as #1 and #2 overall picks? Their career numbers aren’t too far off. I don’t think Laf’s value is very high outside of fan hype. Great size but ain’t he slow? The Canucks need speed in a big way.

It's never going to be a points-in points-out transaction. Especially if there is a top 4 Dman coming back. I would prefer a center and a defenseman, but Laffy is a good play with lots of room to grow

Ya they would need to get a center somehow. Maybe that'd be a secondary trade this season, or something to address in the offseason. Do some maneuvering at the TDL if they're punting for the year
