It’s amazing how fast a narrative can change. Had the Leafs not come out flying in the 2nd period and had Woll not stood on his head the rest of the game the headlines would be completely different today.
I think we need Stolarz back ASAP. Woll is still inconsistent and fragile.
Also, please someone put some defibrillator paddles on Rielly. He has been very disappointing. Maybe he is saving it for the playoffs?? - Hockey_Reverend
Stolarz should be back by the end of the month. The fact that Woll has been good makes me think there's no reason to rush him. They're in first place, what's the hurry? |

The hurry would be that Woll's career high games played in a season is 25. He's at 24 right now. With his injury history, he needs a back-up to be reliable and available.
His .907 SV% is 13th among goalies who have played 24 or more games so he's been slightly above average.
Hildeby has not been good and isn't ready for the NHL yet. Might be time to give Murray another chance to get rolling.
There's no guarantee that Stolarz will return to his previous level.
The Leafs goaltending will continue to be it's biggest question mark when the games start to matter the most especially when you consider the Leafs |

Rielly's lack of production and middling performances (at best) is starting to be concerning. Not panic time obviously, since the Leafs lead the division, but this is in spite of Rielly and not because of him.
He better go into beast mode in the playoffs.

To me, the McD cross check looked exactly like Reilly’s on Greig. Reilly got 5 games and I don’t think he’d ever been suspended before. McD was suspended once in 2019
Will be curious to see how the league spins this - AxlRose91
Didn't Mcdavid get a game earlier this year for a slash? Or remembering that one wrong?
Reminded me more of the Matthews one on Dahlin, but Matthews was neck first where Connors was face first. That's got to be worth at least 3 games if Auston got two.
My kids an oiler fan, he's like yeah I'm not worried at all, the league is soft as (frank) unless you play for Toronto. |

Rielly + Robertson --> Vancouver
JT Miller + Kampf --> Columbus
Jenner + Severson --> Toronto |

...and by accounts Stolarz will be playing within two weeks...where's the problem? I'm saying Woll is better than above average in the league this year anyway. I'm bullish on both Woll and Stolarz. |

The problem is Woll is always one save away from being out for 6 weeks so the Leafs need a back-up to make sure that doesn't happen by overplaying Woll.
Woll is pretty average this season by the stats.
You're bullish on anything wearing a Leafs jersey. |

High five brother, amen! You got that right.
Reaves and Domi are useless, but we can still win the Cup.
There's no doubt in my mind that Woll has been better than his current stats line ranking. He's been outstanding in my view.

Okay how awesome was that Nylander goal.
And how much of a chocolate bomb was that Matthews shortie? He's back to scoring every game basically.
Also the Joe Bowen call on the Woll save in late 3rd is an all-time Bowen performance. |

And you have a problem with anything wearing a leafs jersey. Which makes it quite twisted you're still obsessively camped here acting like you're the only one who knows anything. Definition of a masochist. |

So I went through my first crushing playoff loss as a Lions fan. Honestly as a Leaf fan I've seen so much worse, I'm gonna get over it. |
