In about 2013ish I went to Chicago to watch the Leafs play. We were up by about 3 goals and I stood up and yelled hey how does that song go before chanting duh du do do duh da do do da do da da do doo. Which really pissed off the Chicago fans. Well we ended up losing that game and the haggling i received was insane but deserved.

Last night must have been awesome to watch.

Vancouver fans - actually fans of any team not named The Oilers are likely to be very upset if Mc David doesn’t get suspended. Especially after he got away with that cheap /sneaky little elbow to the head earlier in the week.

McDavid’s was essentially the same as Matthews on Dahlin. Myers’s could be viewed as far more intentional / not in the heat of battle. Guess we will see, I’m curious because it doesn’t matter what is done folks won’t be happy. Lol

Ya, both players got match penalties which I believe is an automatic hearing.

McDavid instigated the whole thing by punching Garland while he had him pinned down. The crosscheck to the head was after they separated so it wasn’t in the heat of battle imo.

Fair point there should have been a penalty on Garland before it got to that but refs put away their whistles. I’m just saying three was way more back and forth between Garland & McDsvid vs Myers on Bouchard.

There should have been two penalties against McDavid before Garland even got up and held him. McPussy was retaliating. He should easily get two games.

To me, the McD cross check looked exactly like Reilly’s on Greig. Reilly got 5 games and I don’t think he’d ever been suspended before. McD was suspended once in 2019

Will be curious to see how the league spins this

It’s amazing how fast a narrative can change. Had the Leafs not come out flying in the 2nd period and had Woll not stood on his head the rest of the game the headlines would be completely different today.

I think we need Stolarz back ASAP. Woll is still inconsistent and fragile.

Also, please someone put some defibrillator paddles on Rielly. He has been very disappointing. Maybe he is saving it for the playoffs??
