The Bruins play better when McAvoy is out of the lineup (and Lindholm plays his best in that scenario). I'd be happy to see if they could move him. He's worthless on the PP but based on his contract "has to be" on the #1 unit. He is a great 2nd pairing D-man and even a very good #2 but he is NOT a #1. |

Who takes him at 9.5m? I'm ready to move on from about half this lineup, all of the coaches and of course management and ownership.
But I'm just expecting more business as usual. I expect Sweeney to add at the deadline, not sell. Need to try to get that two games of playoff revenue.
Annnnd back to the bourbon. |

Pass the bourbon! I swear everytime you think they might be able to string together some wins they quickly show you exactly who they are. |

What an ugly loss.
Turnovers and goaltending still a weakness.
This team is going nowhere in the playoffs... 7-2 vs a team 3rd-last in the standings?

I think we should all start a bourbon slush fund. I am currently out of stock. |

9 shots on goal 1/2 way through the game, hard to score when you dont shoot.

Bruins allowed 5 even-strength goals. They have problems at both ends of the ice...
And Bruins did end up with 27 shots by end of game.
Compare the goaltending though...
Ukko = .926 SV%
Swayman = .812 SV%
Was is all Ukko? Or Poor shooting by Bruins? Probably a bit of both.
But the team is not gonna win many games when goalie has SV% of .812

Many, MANY shots were off-goal. Many times these guys can't hit the side of a barn! |

I'm cosigning this. (frank) sakes

Why the (frank) is Lettieri still on this roster and not Lysell or Merkulov? I understand it won't move the needle much in terms the current state of the team but to me this seems like an ideal time to start looking at what you have and potential future.
Same for Frederick and Keopke |

I'm convinced Sweeney is holding them back to try and keep their value as high as possible. If they get called up and dont produce their perceived value will probably go down.
I think Sweeney wants them to dominate the AHL so he can sell them at the deadline and go all in as much as he can. PLAYOFF REVENUE BABY!@!!! |

I remember when Sacco interviewed for a job with the Sharks and didnt get selected. There is a reason why the SHARKS of all teams chose David Quinn (ended up with a .326 win percentage) over Sacco. Quinn was seen as a better choice. That should be all we need to know about Sacco. |
