Been a bit since I've been on, but have either watched live or recorded. Definitely like what I see, this team is playing better hockey. It's the same team, but different leadership and game plans. We have some kids who've come in and made some seriously significant impact - Johansson, Soderblom, Kasper, for example.

Soderblom has made a VERY strong case to stay - waive Motte to GRG, maybe? I dunno, but the kid's got a massive skill set that plays well under Todd Mac's schemes. Johansson's an absolute gem. Kasper's progressing well, I think he's going to take Petry's slot (or Holl, either once if you ask em...). I saw someone post a few days ago about what we would look like with Ghost and Walman....2 losses that seriously hurt our team. We'd be in better shape, BUT we may well not have Johansson....who knows what we'd look like.

I'm watching closely how the G situation resolves itself. I agree with the thought of keeping Lyon to transition between Cossa and the 1A slot, then between Lyon and Augy as the 1B...... Either way, the G situation is going to be touchy, but Lyon & Talbot have been truly stellar. I'd be happy to keep both for another year if need be.

This has been one heck of a ride. There's definitely a bright future. This team, as many have stated here previously, is really a good team - need some tweaks, but man.....this is a HELLUVA ride!!!
