good to see you back khawk.

What I liked about the last three games is they have outshot their opponents, driven play, dominated in the neutral zone and have done it all with injuries.

next two games are key.

the need the break of the 4nations cup.

Is it just me or is Brady looking stronger and more determined when taking the puck to the net in the last 3 games? He seems like a man on a mission lately.

I thought the Nashville game was just good but not great. The first unit powerplay continues to cycle the puck around the perimeter with few opportunities to shoot from the inside. This needs to be fixed soon.

Was a good game.

For me, it was one of those games where the calls went heavily our way. There have been many instances where it didn't But tonight - was our night. If I was a preds fan I could easily feel cheated here.

About the only call we didn't get was the goal that should have counted.

Good write up.
thanks for contributing khawk

Good result. Sens could have easily folded with the non-goal. I think the Sens got some favorable calls as a result of the non-goal that clearly should have been a goal.

Will be interesting to see what the trade deadline brings. A quality forward and replacement for Hamonic would go a long way to bring some quality roster depth. Would also be interesting if Forsberg could net an asset and you run with Linus and Leevi.

The two Tampa games are huge. Hopefully it invokes some playoff-like atmosphere.

Echoing the shot attempts on the blog and here, they're starting to translate that into goals. So many times we've seem this team get loads of shots bit not lead to goals, hopefully that cam continue.

Thanks - sorry, I was out of the country for a week, and then came down with a really nasty flu where I could barely keep up with basic work/family needs. Finally feeling better now, and obviously it's been great to see this team winning some games... vs. the objectively awful game I got to pay money to watch live vs. NYR.

Welcome back, khawk - good write up!

I hope the team's trend continues. Not obviously expecting them to win every game from now until the end of the regular season but at least to remain in the same-ish spot. Also glad to see Ullmark back "online".

Worried about ullmark's durability suddenly. Also, it may take him a game or two to get his 'sea legs' under him, and the Sens can't afford to waste games like that. They need to win games at a 60% clip to make the playoff, IMO.

Should be an entertaining game to watch.

Keep an eye on that dirty punk Kucherov. Feel free to staple his a$$ into the boards. He did a very dirty and dangerous trip on Rasmussen on an empty net goal that almost caused a serious injury. Rasmussen was helped off the ice and was very lucky to avoid serious injury. No penalty or suspension on that which is insane. Kucherov has done this kind of crap before.

Glad Stutzle was not seriously injured. 10 games for that moron Hartman... deserves all of it.

Can't see Ottawa trading away Forsberg for parts. Ullmark needs to show he can be resilient in net. You want that extra goalie. So Merilainen plays the bulk of games in Belleville to stay game fit. Forsberg backs up Ullmark ......... and if either of them get injured, you can recall Merilainen.
