8-1 Rangers.

It’s certainly a must win. They cannot lose this game. Penguins lineup is horrific

even in our presidents trophy season last season this is one of those trap games where we end up playing down to the opponent, even if we emerge victorious. If the score is 8-1 Rangers i'll change my son's name to TJ, legally

With no Crosby or Malkin surprised quick isn’t starting tonight. Tomorrow’s game vs Columbus seems more important for Igor to start

We both can help each other.... we want a good draft pick and you want to make the playoffs. Win the game and lets all be happy.

But in all seriousness, this is one of those games where if you lose, you should automatically be disqualified from playoff contention.

Did you the ace today on 16? By Grillo. Man that’s a bucket list item for me. Getting a ticket at the 16th for the WM

Any roster is going to look bad without Crosby/Malkin, but Kyle Dubas has finally stopped trying to play all sides and he is actively selling and making the team worse.

You dont turn it around with a bunch of mid-teens 1st round draft picks. Top 5 pick this year, top 3 pick next year would be goal.

Yea doesn’t happen overnight. They need to find a way to get Crosby to agree to leaving. Avs seem like the perfect spot.

Nah, if you ask any Penguin fan, myself included, they'll tell you they'd prefer Crosby to play out his career in Pittsburgh, even if it delays a rebuild. We dont want to see him in another jersey, just like Mario.

I think it's a near zero chance he leaves. He wouldnt want to deal with the craziness of a new market at this point in his career. I think in his mind, if we can do a quick rebuild/retool hybrid and combine that with the cap space available in the next 2-3 years, he can make one more serious run before he retires.

Disclosure: I have him on my fantasy team so I need him to return soon and succeed this season.
But, as much as I despise Crysby and the Pens he should retire in Pitt. Would suck for him to end up like Stamkos. I'm sure he will take a pretty low salary to finish out his career unless a Ray Borque type situation arises.

I don't see why Crosby wouldn't retire after this contract, he's won everything, there's honestly nothing left for him

I'd argue that since he has won everything the drive is there to win one more time, be it gold or the Cup provided the body cooperates.

I was hoping he'd put up 100 points this year just to get closer to the 2,000 point conversation, but I think the math is against him. Even if he has the longevity to extend his career.
