I hope for the Seth Jones trade they land a bunch and don't have to retain any money. It may set the cost for a Karlsson deal.

I often think we as Pittsburgh, and even hockey fans, truly underappreciate Sidney Crosby.

Guy's 37 almost 38 years old. Coming off an injury to the point where they werent sure if he'd play, he's on the team with a bunch of mid and early 20s superstars, and he puts up 3 points, wins player of the game, and is the first guy on the ice for the optional skate the next day.

Well I certainly dont. There is no other player I would pick other than him in a winner take all scenario.

I think it is this new ownership and Dubas that seem to not appreciate it. It was offensive to take the half ass approach to this offseason and just let it pass by. The best player in the world doesnt play for an organization that is committed to winning

We probably don't appreciate him as much as we should. Part of that I think is he followed Lemieux, one of the few guys ranked even higher than him. But what an amazing player. We've been ridiculous blessed in Pittsburgh, could easily go the rest of our lives and not see another player who'd even make our top three.

Almost certaintly we don't see anybody in PIT who passes Mario, Sid, or Jagr, but then it's also unlikely we see somebody better than Geno. Then there's Francis too, making the all-time Penguins team at C is damn near impossible.

No matter who you put on the all time team the fourth line will always be Donk-Malkin-Flibett

They would of course be the call ups when half our all-time team is injured, which would always be the case.

I'd just go Score Lords first line, Sidney centering the second. Though maybe flip Sid and Francis..

Granlund wins it with sweet shot. Not sure he ever shot the puck as a Penguin. I have to admit, I'm enjoying these games more than I thought I would.
