I am a Computer Science student with a minor in Applied Mathematics. If all goes to plan, I will most likely be teaching Calculus I and II, Linear Algebra, and Discrete Mathematics.
I got A's in all of these classes and I really enjoy explaining things and helping others. However, I have never had any formal math teaching experience. I am confident in the subjects I will be teaching, but I would like to be prepared for what to expect from the students.
Does anyone have any tips or ideas for running a one-on-one tutoring session? |
