If there was a time for the core to show up it might be Saturday against Ottawa. My money says Ottawa will want it more. Leafs always have a better 1st half of the season because it’s easy hockey. |

Ottawa will job the Leafs and then the Leafs will win 5 in a row. It's the way it works. Nothing to see here. |

Next 5 games after Ottawa one:
1. Flames
2. @Avalanche
3. @Rangers
4. @Predators
5. @Devils
I will be happy if they can get away with 6 points. |

Just in case you need another reason to hate the KC Cheats…….
Resigned rapist punter Matt Araiza
(Bills released him initially) 👍
and
Resigned wife beater Kareem Hunt
Wonder how the Swifties feel about this? |

F the Chiefs, but all signs seem to point to Araiza not being involved.
Amazing what allegations can do to someone's reputation. |

PR nightmare
Bills were smart to stay away
Also,
Britt Reid, the son of Chiefs coach Andy Reid, served 16 months of a three-year sentence after pleading guilty to felony driving while intoxicated resulting in serious physical injury. According to prosecutors, Reid was driving about 84 mph in a 65 mph zone when he hit two parked cars near Arrowhead Stadium in February 2021. Six people were injured, including Miller's then-5-year-old daughter Ariel Young, who sustained a traumatic brain injury, was in a coma for 11 days and spent two months in a hospital.
Reid previously pleaded guilty to flashing a gun at another motorist in a 2007 incident, and while serving his sentence for that charge, he pleaded guilty to another unrelated charge of driving while under the influence of a controlled substance. |

I'm not sure who Miller is, this is missing a little context, but this is tragic. I hope Miller sued the f@ck out of Reid and got all the money. That child/family deserves to never have to worry about anything after some rich, narcissistic, spoiled $hithead screwed up their lives.

On November 19, 2021, the Kansas City Chiefs announced that they would pay for all of the medical expenses for the five-year-old and provide her "long-term financial stability".
Good for them, but also, f@ck them for life. Glad they lost. |

Puck Pix : Gibby in Leafs 3-14 - PuckPix
Pretty thicc neck on the youngun but not even close to his legendary poppa🤦♂️
having said this,Barrie needed way more hard Richard Wildmen to get anywhere in the playoffs🤦🏿♂️
the deadline was a disaster for shammy and his scapegoat, treedying🤦♂️
one of the corpse 5 should’ve been dealt long ago but now they have trade protection🤦🏿♂️
unfortunately this season’s failure will prove me right and shammy wrong once again😭🤦🏿♂️
what a (frank)ing joke🤦♂️
edit: nice alliteration👍🏿

See, his mistake was hitting those cars. When I drink and drive, I do it responsibly and never speed or ding anyone. |

Tie is one of my favorite Leafs. Period. Sue me.
For this weirdo non-standard Florida Leaf man, when I think of great Leaf players that I enjoyed watching prior to the Lightning coming into the league, I think of : Dougie Gilmour, Wendel Clark, Darcy Tucker, Felix Potvin, Mats Sundin, Dave Andreychuk, and Tie (frank)ing Domi.
Tie Domi, the Leafs piss missile I fondly recall.

I have a theory about Matthews…
I’m pretty sure I’m on to something here.
I’m gonna make dinner and feed the cat, first.
Stay tuned tho.

Sorry for the late response.
I was taking a long poop.
Yeah tho. Essentially!
Here’s what’s starting to emerge in my view.
I wouldn’t necessarily call it a rift between him and Marner, but I’ll bet that the 4NFO did something to him. Mitch embarrassing him so bad like that on the gwg, he’s never been done dirty like that before. Then the next game where Mitch continues to dominate and nets the OT winner. He completely ignores Matthews and skates down to his boy Stolarz for the bear hug.
Somethings brewing here. Maybe Matthews is starting to be a little sad that his BFF is establishing himself as the main guy, and it’s hurting his ego a bit? Maybe he’s tired of the conversation always being about Marners contract negotiations? Or perhaps, but more unlikely, there really was some resentment formed from that tournament. Maybe Austin never thought he’d hear the US anthem loudly boo’d in Canada, and he saw his boy not give a single (frank)? It’s more possible than you might think. He’s clearly not been the same since that tournament. Yes he’s probably also dealing with some nagging injuries, but I think he’s just a little confused about his stature in Canada now?
Also, maybe he’s starting to realize he can’t keep up with Marners pace. He’s a lot bigger than Mitch, and eventually that starts to wear on a guy. |
