Sounds very similar to how Callahan's career went with the injuries. There was a point where his back started to get progressively worse and worse until he just couldnt play anymore.

Dubinsky also. One of my favorite memories was that water cooler incident. Man I wish we had a player with that kid of fire again

That team was not the most skilled, but boy that team had heart and Torts lit a fire under their butts and got them to play.

They had nothing left in 2012 versus the DEvils. Their style of play wore them down as did all the long series.

The way they played was brutal, no series was easy, war after war.

and it was nearly the same on our run to the Cup in 2014, except the Kings did play 7 games in every series prior to the Cup series.

Those teams lacked the killer instinct. Never made it easier on themselves

Pretty sure he’s taken a penalty in 3 straight. And if it’s not 3 straight it’s 3 of the last 4.

This will feel like a miracle if they win this. They look tired from getting in at 2am

When hes playing like he did, no he shouldnt. His elite skating is what makes him a good defenseman, when hes injured or whatever, he becomes a liability. Simple. I still dont think he should be playing 23+ minutes a game, which means if that cuts into his PK time, so be it.

He could have 8 PP mins a game and I wouldn’t care obviously, all PK time does to him is wear him down. It’s one of the stupidest things this team has done in ages. If the current dmen can’t kill penalties ahead of him we got problems
