Habs in 7.

Would probably be the case. I want them to fight Florida in either level instead of teams that seem to have Game 7 on the mind every game. |

Now now, go back to whining unnecessarily about our future captain and superstar Willie "He's your huckleberry" Nylander.
No Jays game today.
😜 - Fakepartofme
Marner is the Leafs MVP.
He deserves at least $3M/yr more than Nylander. Say ridiculous things all you want but we all k ow Nylander is gone this summer to make room for 16/23.

Oh boy.
Marner has been great for sure, the best player on the team this year and others in the past? Sure, one could easily make that case.
But, hes still only 13pts ahead of willie...is that worth $3m more? I know he does things willie doesnt and vice versa...but he got all the cash he could last time, i think he needs to leave some on the table this time. $12.5 - $13m max would be my hope.
Tre made an error not locking up knies earlier, not hes gonna cost more...but he needs to lock him up before he gets offer sheeted. Hes the perfect candidate to offer a huge deal to to try and screw the leafs.
But, willie, the future captain of your wet dreams Nylander isn't going anywhere this off season.....as with the past 5 seasons you predicted hed be traded.
So ya gotta cope. |

I spit out my coffee when I read this in today's Athletic:
"With the Boston Bruins missing the playoffs for the first time since 2016, the Leafs now hold the NHL’s longest active postseason streak on their own. In the North American big four pro sports, only the Kansas City Chiefs, L.A. Dodgers and Boston Celtics have longer active postseason streaks." |

Santander hasnt looked that great, Schneider really needs to keep him off the field.

Safe bet any winger looking for more than Matthews receives won’t be getting it no matter what the contract length is.

Mustache needs to be sent down.
I still cant believe atkins didnt get a 2nd starter...or that they let go Yarbrough. They must have known max wouldnt play often. |

Indeed they can make history if they make it!
It's such a fascinating stat though, almost unbelievable that losing the first 7 games in a season as long as a baseball season is (has been) a guaranteed playoff miss. If someone had told me that I'd have probably called BS.

Last time Leafs hit 9 year mark - 1967. Yep, it’s happening |
