So, if Roy gets poop canned would he be a consideration if Lavi does too? Not advocating just sticking with hockey talk. - DONMURDOCH14

I honestly wonder if having a French Canadian coach would help LAF. Don't know if Roy is the answer there but if someone can yell at Laf in French maybe he does better? |

Need a coach that can do a Speed (movie from the 90's) thing with Laff. Shove a firecracker up is @$$ and tell him if he doesn't backcheck and/or slows down, it will explode to make his anus look like he just finished a gay porn movie. |

It will go back up. No worries. American people panic over dumb sh!t. Hell...some hoarded toilet paper again when shipping containers (imports) had issues for a few days due to a worker strike. Toilet paper is made domestically |

Roy will be banned for calling out Duclair. I would think Patrick tried to talk to him privately at first. Coaches cannot be tough any longer on these players. Duclair should have taken it like a man and admitted Patrick was right.

I think Larry brooks brought up a an idea that a Panarin extension could be in the cards this summer
Saw a twitter poll where a 4 year 7 million a year extension beyond next season as a proposal
1200 votes
81% of fans say yes
19% say no

Seeing players like stamkos got 4 years at 8 million and Panarin is out producing him. Think his next contract is in the 9.5 million per year range with the cap going up |

I would hope it does not happen, but who knows in 2025. Lou will be dumb enough to fire him and the owners will let Lou keep his job. Patrick will go to another team and do great. |

Thats why 19% of people saying no to 7 million a year is insane lol |

That may be his next contract. If it is, it will be once he hits FA. I do not think you can extend a player for less $$$.
Has that ever happened? |

Moving on would be the smart move. Teams need to be smarter with older players. I know this as an Islander fan. |

Panarin has been great but part of me wonders if using that 9 million for the rest of the roster would be better than extending a 34 year old leaving his prime years |
