Like I said, we need them to make big strides. aside from a shot on net, they werent noticeable.

When your top players are going, they demand more attention leaving room for these guys to take advantage. Aside from Panarin, our offense isn’t very threatening and pretty easy to shut down.

Laf, Mika, Trocheck, Kreider are all supposed to drive play but all decided to take this season off.

Edit

Im not knocking them, of course they are kids, Im just saying if this team is going to improve and we want to keep them in the line up, they need to take big steps developing.

I know, during the game, Ferraro brought up the their stats from last year and holy poop what a drop off!! We know they had careers years but CK20 is at HALF, Laf, Mika, Trocheck is at 30 percent!

Thats crazy. We will soon know the catalyst for this soon enough.

Said it a bunch. Six 70 point players last year. One this season

The defense is a mess bc of the system and coaching. I’m not ready to write off K Miller unless we get the right return

I would and hope he fixes whatever it is he has going on. I still think the upside is there at $5 million.

After all of that Roy should have challenged the play for offsides

You would?

What has he done to deserve a $5M per year contract?

How may more years are you going to talk about his "upside"? You do know he's about to finish his 5th season?

I disagree, he still makes really stupid turnovers, look at yesterdays game, terrible giveaway, he turns the puck over every game.

He had switched from forward to defense in college, I forgot why though.

That's where he belongs, always has. The NHL is not the university of Wisconsin.

He may be one of the top 10 worst defenseman in the league. His only asset is his skating ability, which of course we never see because he's too busy stick checking and turning the puck over.

No way I'm giving him 5 mil a year.

Canadiens win again. Rangers are now 6 points back. The door is just about slammed shut now. I'm kinda relieved, I just want this season to be over.

What really bothered me was the lack of urgency. I put a lot of blame on Lavy and him not making adjustments through the year. But there was enough talent to overcome that to at least make the playoffs. The players took a dump on the fans.

To those who blame Drury. I’m not saying he is the best, or even good. Not questioning or championing any individual moves. But he absolutely gave them a playoff roster. That’s on the players and the coach.

Drury gave up this season. Maybe even with Dolans blessing. But I think he sacrificed this season for the greater good. Next year they come back new and improved. Rangers got stale this year. Last year, few years, they were potato bread and this year like a gross stale English muffin what a terrible unlikable team.

Come back hungry, angry and embarrassed. I think there about 5 players who shouldn’t feel some kind of embarrassment.

Cuylle, Quick, Rempe, Edstrom and Carrick. Some others are incomplete. But it’s difficult not to have some kind of sheer dislike for about 50 people in this organization right now

Oh stop, He traded for Miller so he didnt sacrifice or give up on the season, he improved the roaster on paper, yet this team still plays lifeless. If these players arent angry and embarrassed now, they will never be.

New and improved next season??? You make it sound like we dont have any NMC to deal with or assets that carry much value.

I’d say he only improved the center spot. Never really replaced kakko or upgraded elsewhere. Defense is just as bad and maybe even worse now.
