Nice to see a couple wins against good teams.... but the chance of them making the playoffs is still next to impossible. Montreal is peaking at the right time. The Wings' schedule is brutal which doesn't help. Playoffs are not in the cards this year. Gotta let the kids from GR play next season and give them the opportunity to take some job in Detroit. This team still needs to get a lot younger.

For sure, that’s why I wanted to highlight the Rockford back to back. Good looks at Danielson, Tuomisto and Lombardi. Tie definitely shouldn’t go to the vet this fall.

I think they’ve shown the ability to be relevant. However, it was the bump post McLellan hiring. They went on 2 7 game win streaks and everyone was talking about the shock of the change. The team got a big local boost from last season selling out tix. While there’s a mixed reaction here, there’s a lot of excitement around Raymond, Seider and Edvinsson. Kasper and Debrincat are each starting to get some heat. Flush some vets and get a solid blue line together (I think Tuomisto and one of Wallinder or Buium should be in line, still need to see ASP on N. American ice). Of all the weird parts of doing the blogs and videos, when I use #’s I get to see how many views on what platform the different names are getting. My wishlist is to trade or sign a top Dman to complement Seider. Lombardi, watch the last 2 griffins highlight reels on their Rockford games. I think he had 3 goals and 2 assists in those 2 games. His shot can come out of nowhere. Just has to stay healthy (same as Mazur in that). Very excited about some of those kids. League wise, Sandin-Pellikka gets the attention and it would be awesome to see jump right in over here

Let’s be honest Montreal back in playoffs after 3 years possibly and the yzerplan going on 10. We need to give the yzerplan to all the teams in the Atlantic to use as a blueprint and then we have a chance. The main reason we are not in playoffs this year is Yzerman. 1. For taking way to long as many of us on here would say daily, fire Lalonde. 2 if he had kept the same defence as last year with adding Edvinsson full time and Johansson and kept Walman , ghost and Maata We would be in so much better shape. Who on here believes that Holl is even close to any one of those 3. And Gus is worse than all 3 also. This group on here also seen that ,yet the GM totally *ucked it up . Great scout and drafting terrible at putting the pieces together.
