Do you really believe what you just said. Marner is likely going back into junior for another year. This is when teams begin to worry that he cannot make the jump. I am telling you the reviews coming out of the USA WJC are not good on Marner. Nobody has panicked. But if goes back to junior you start to think that he is more Sam Gagner than Patrick Kane.

Time to rest as many players as possible, especially Matthews.

The Senators are the best possible 1st round match-up for the Leafs. We historically own them in the playoffs. If this core can't beat the Senators, they can't beat anybody.

Should start Woll because his playoff starts in the past should give him the edge. If he falters, they have a solid Plan B. Stolarz has been a great back-up but his playoff resume is next to zero. I'd rather go with Woll until he gives us a reason to change that.
