In DW and Davies defense, as of late, we have posted a lot of PG and are fairly vocal about how much we think PG and other guitar virtuosos are amazing (this has spilled onto other threads too which is kind of bad). I can see how some would find it annoying especially if you're just not into music centered on highly advanced guitar playing. Not that the whining and complaining will stop me from posting the music I like but I thought I'd at least mention that I can understand why some are sick of PG.

If there is one thing that I think has improved on this thread is the MB is not here to post WWE soundtrack music, Jon Secada, or Color Me Bad. He did it just to be an annoying wiener.

No, it's not why I post Paul Gilbert and I don't think Pikey posts it for that reason either. The thread topic is "Song of the Day" which you know already b/c you can read and b/c I know you're not an idiot (neither is DW). Any snobbery on my part comes from having played for last 20 years. My intent has never been to (frank) with anyone b/c of the music they like. It's just my opinion which, at times, comes off the wrong way so I apologize.

I said nothing about anyone else's music until Walnut started it. And he can take it otherwise he wouldn't have started it. I know he's of good enough humour to keep arguing wihtout actually being angry. lol

But yeah, I don't post Gilbert or Petrucci or Moore or Stevens, etc... because I think my music is somehow intrinsically better than someone else's. That's just what I like to listen to. I do think they're "technically" better than others but when I say something like "paul is awesome" that doesn't preclude others from being awesome.

Davies stinks and is precluded from being awesome.
