i think his post-beatles stuff is the best of all of them, hands down. lennon and mccartney were obvi at their best together; so good that george didn't really get a fair shake and had so many terrific ideas cooked up for so long. i like all things must past than more than a few beatles albums, probably, and definitely more than any lennon or mccartney album.
