Was it the pacing? Dark Knight was a little too fast in the slow scenes for my taste. Otherwise I very much like it.

I don't like how Nolan gets all this frigging credit for reviving Batman when almost everything in those two movies were pulled outta the comics and then just moved around a little. Inception is what happens when Nolan is working sans comics. All flash and no substance.

BTW they say they're making a Total Recall reboot but I'm pretty sure that's what Inception was.

I just love DK because it did a better job than any movie ive seen in creating a sense of panic caused by a "supervillain" in a real world setting.

treating the Joker as a terrorist in the media reports was cool

Actually got the sense someone like him could be real

I don't want to mention some of the things I like about it since kick hasn't seen it and will be seeing it soon.

Well I enjoy how Bruce is always tempted by the promise of a happy, normal life but always makes the choice to be Batman, no matter how lonely it gets, because his duty matters to him more than anything else. It's kind of like Casablanca but with Batman.

For me it was Leo still trying to play the "gritty" role. It didn't work in The Departed and it didn't work in Inception.

I assumed you meant Inception, as the Dark knight was awesome and perfect.

Maggie Gyllenhall was better in Secretary. I like Katie Holmes better. and I still am having trouble viewing Gary Oldman as a good guy.

It's odd. I really liked Inception the first time I saw it, and having watched it a couple of times since then I find all I can pay attention to is how big Leo's face has become. Seriously, its (frank)ing huge.

EDIT: James Spader is the (frank)ing man.
