you know pearl jam's best song is actually them covering this song.

they should have just recorded the cover of this song and then went away.

(you must hate their version though)

meh, not that crazy about it, Saves The Day did a pretty good cover, it's a little more poppy

i don't really know saves the day.

i just thought it was funny that pearl jam's best songs are just doing other people's songs. they should have been a cover band.

yeah, i've heard that. good poop.

i guess i'm not being fair either, i think PJ are good musicians and all, i just don't think they've made any real worthwhile music since like 1993. their best songs in the last like 15 years have been who covers and other people's songs. to me, anyway.

probably because every record they put out got this ridiculous hype as some epic life altering masterpiece and then was a complete disappointment. i've never seen a cd get as much hype and then suck as hard as no code or whatever it was called.

Never even heard of it, but I doubt it was worst than Chinese Democracy, that had so much hype, and it was awful.

at least with that the world had time to realize that it was gonna be a joke when it finally came out.

these PJ records got all kinds of lead up from all the rock stations and then were sappy awful records. youtube the song off he goes. it's an abomination. i remember sitting in my car listening to it all like "the (frank) is this crap?"

they did it with all their records. first they told you they were almost done writing it, then they told you about tour dates, then they gave you a release date, then they played a single to death, and then the record finally came out and the single was the only okay song on it.

ugh Rancid did something like that with their last CD, it was suppose to come out in June of '08 but it got pushed a whole year back, the only good thing about it is they toured 2 years in a row.
