you should give it a try.

if you like down on the upside i think you'd really like superunknown.

it's a little more punchy but still with the psychedelic sort of feeling behind it.

literally everything Grohl does annoys me. he seems like a decent guy but i just cant handle him.


there was some documentary about a historic recording studio that was forced to close...and it ended with Dave the hero coming in to save it...except instead of just buying the studio to keep it open, he takes the soundboard and just moves it into his home studio.

i watched this just prior to you posting.

wow. i never knew anybody that doesn't like dave grohl.

all of the foo fighter albums are great to me. like all of them.

i think them and queens of the stone age are the best rock bands going right now.

you may be misunderstanding him. i don't get that vibe from him.

he seems like a pretty genuine guy who isn't afraid to admit his roots come from classic rock too, and not just punk or metal music. and he always seems very thankful for any award they receive or anything like that.

it might just be how he jokes around about everything. he's got a good sense of humor and a strong personality but he never struck me as the self proclaimed anything type. he also writes great songs and is ridiculously talented.

i hope your dislike of him doesn't stop you from listening to his music cause they've got a ton of great stuff.

i want to recommend an album but they're literally all so good i don't know which one to choose.

there is nothing left to lose, echoes silence patience & grace, one by one. i really think you'd like all three of those. and their last one is also unbelievable.

it still falls out whenever i open the cd.
