Pretty much all the early ones are good. Lysol is my fave, even better than Houdini I think (both good for different reasons). Lysol has longer songs with slow, awesome sludgy riffs goodness, whereas houdini is more concise and punchy, and also a bit more uptempo... but not by a whole lot mind you (we're talking about the Melvins here).

Haven't listened to anything past Stoner Witch, wich I like a whole bunch and will give a honorable mention to as well (its more in the style of Houdini). But if you have to pick one, I say go with Lysol.

Also if you like the Melvins you might like Electric Wizard and Sleep, two awesome sabbath-played-slower-while-tuned-lower legends, if you don't already know them. They're (frank)ing rad.
