If you enjoy stoner/psychedelic rock, you may enjoy that music show named États altérés. Host Alexandre is a buddy from Montreal, knows trillions of bands, cool dude.

the first one was really good the second one was good. all downhill after that. the third one was balls with a couple good tracks and the cover album was terrible.

you had to be kind of into it and be able to appreciate the kind of funk thing. but once it didn't seem sincerely angry anymore it was done.

i bought the third one but it wasn't anything memorable and i remember listening to the 4th one with all the covers and just being like "okay, any minute now this is gonna stop sucking." but it never did.

My appreciation of the album doubled after finding all the original songs on YouTube and comparing with the raged versions.

one of my favorite bands of all time (and pretty much the kind of music I listened to the most. post-hardcore or wathever it's supposed to be called, is my jam)

Yes it's super crisp. I'm guessing the guitars and bass were recorded direct in (with a jack going from the "poweramp out" output of the amp straight into the console, so no mics involved).

That would make sense as it's a quicker way to record, thus being convenient for a demo
