Song : I'm Not Done by Fever Ray
Film : Fire and Ice by Ralph Bakshi (who did the original LOTR animated movie)

great colours and cool theme, but to be honest rotoscope animation has never done it for me

Good tune reminds me a bit of Kate Bush. Bakshi is awesome and you're misunderstanding snobbery for ignorant. Check out Wizards by Bakshi. Heavy Metal was also a great animated movie in the same style, check out the list of actors that did the voice overs on that. Bakshi and Frazetta are awesome.

Frazetta is a (frank)ing god, and has nothing to do with animation. Bakshi's non-rotoscoped animation are awesome as well. Do you even know what rotoscoping is? I think you do not.

And if you do and can't see how it takes away from the fun in animation, then there's nothing that can be done to help you I'm afraid.

Frazetta had huge impact. I understand the format. The point is more the inclusion of the artwork than the medium style it was utilized in. Is it as aesthetically pleasing? Maybe not but that shouldn't take away from the art.

What I mean is : tracing over live action characters is no fun to me. I'm purely speaking animation-wise here.

I think if a guy like Bakshi used that medium, you are allowed to not like it but.....(frank) you then. right? kidding, it was great when I was growing up. The original LOTR and Wizards were awesome. I grew up reading Robert E Howard, JRR, Asimov etc so to have access to that kind of story regardless of animation type was awesome.

eh, I'd MUCH rather watch wacky animations. Where the characters aren't realistic. and where they get difformed to freakish, super expressive poses. See : Chuck Jones, Tex Avery, John Kricfalusi... and even Ralph Bakshi himself("Fritz the cat" comes to mind).
But to each their own... just kidding, (frank) you you little faggit

spoken like a true defeated guy. I like it

Man it felt good to beat you up. Your blood is still fresh on my knuckles, it hasn't even dried up yet.Exhilarating.
