i made it all the way up to the red album i think it was before i had to get out. i heard the single from this last album and holy poop. how does that happen?

i think he looked at pinkerton and thought holy poop that was embarrassing and decided to never do another personal album again and they became all generic and poop

i like the silly pop songs like the blue album a lot and i liked riversy pinkerton a lot. i even think i may have been the loudest proponent on the planet for maladroit, which i thought was a good fun record (it did get good reviews iirc but none of my friends really liked it).

the red album was weird and everybody was singing on it (i think it was that one anyway) and it took a while for the songs to grow on you but it was hooky and eventually worked. but weezer songs usually hook you right away and you could just tell poop was about to get weird.

see i didn't think it was bad yet at the green album.

i own raditude but i feel like that was where i tuned out. i don't think i listened to it more than a couple times and now looking at their discography i can't believe how long ago that was and how many CDs they've put out since that i wouldn't even buy and listen to. so raditude must have been pretty damaging.

Loud is the current #1 rap-queb artist and selling a lot of albums here and in France. The title of his first LP, Une année record (a record year) was prophetic. He isn't my clear favorite but def top 3. Deep lyrics, good beats.
