Even if the Sabres did land Getzlaf - which they won't - Lindy would most likely try him with 16 different line combinations then wind up having him center Gerbe and Kaleta.

What has Gerbe done this year? Not much of anything. Shows heart and that's about it, kinda like Goose and his faceoffs.

I wonder if Gerbe is waiting for Roy to "go down" for the rest of the season again before he starts producing...

I guess I'm basing it off expectations, which for me are kind of low for him. He does need to score more, for sure.
