cammalleri is 6 mil for 2 more seasons and he is another smaller forward, I have red numerous places the Canadians are going to buy out Goat-mez after the season, I would wait and sign him after the buy out the 2 are interchangable

Chris Neil is a much better fighter, hitter, agitator and has more of an ability to chip in offensively than Kaleta.

Are you serious? Ive loved hockey since I could talk, but the quality of play is horrible........and you say never been better. I tried watching the Caps-Pens game last night. I was bored to tears. Not an inch of room out there, skill players have no time to do anything with the puck, you're not allowed to hit anymore and fighting is at an all time low. The NHL is void of superstars, good players sure, superstars hardly any unlike the NBA and NFL where there are superstars making plays all over the field/court. The NHL stinks these days.

Kaleta sucks and is a goon. When goons that do nothing but check people they end up getting suspended. Yes the refs keep a eye on them and give them extra penaltys,it happens to all of the goons. The only thing kaleta can do is kill penaltys. Sorry garth but becuase he scored 10 goals once does not make him a goal scorer. Just like every other grinder/goon does he just whips the puck at the front of the net hoping to get lucky. Keleta is as 1 dimensional as it gets and kassian should have already replaced him permanately on the starting roster. Not to mention he is normaly worthless because he is often injured.

Honestly, if Kaleta weren't from Buffalo, he'd probably be off of the Sabres long ago.

Wanting to call up Kassian to replace Kaleta is a joke - - Kassian is a top six power forward, not a fourth line grinder. When Kassian's ice time started to diminish and he was dropped to the fourth line, I was actually happy he was sent back down to Rochester. At least there he gets top line minutes and can work the power play to further hone his skills.

Tropp, on the other hand, is the perfect replacement for Kaleta. In my opinion, Tropp is more skilled and is even a better fighter. Also check their stats, Tropp (1+1) has the same number of points as Kaleta (2+0), in half as many games. If Kaleta is not retained and Tropp takes his roster spot and plays the same role next year, I wouldn't be mad at all.

Cammalerri is not a playmaking center, he's a shoot first scorer, that has done anything but score this year. Or last year for that matter.
