Those 2 things the Sabres desperately need...and he's still a better passer than Roy. - SabreHess
Plek sucks. The sabres should obviously bring him in for their perennial 80 point, 30 goal selke-finalist |

whats so much better about plekanec should be the question you ask yourself. youre acting like plekanec should be an untouchable player, which to me as a hockey fan putting team alliances aside, is ridiculous. - theblueandgold
Absolutely no player is untouchable.
But on Montreal you can argue that Price, Subban, Gorges and Plekanec are the foundation of the team. |

that would be an absolutely retarded idea.
Are you so self-involved that you would take me thinking plek is better than your best center as me thinking I wouldn't trade him for anything short of malkin? |

People, if Ry is so much better than Plek as you seem to want to convince me, why are you suggesting this is a good trade for you? - muffin_man
Simple. The guy is not on the team i root for, so the other guy we are getting in return must be better. In this case i do think Plek has a more complete game they Roy. |

Montreal desperately needs PP help. Making a lateral 'hockey trade' just doesn't seem to help that situation at all.
IF we are going after a Roy for PP help (don't know enough about him to say he would help or not) .. it's for prosects/picks. |

I have a feeling Gomez will be sent to Phoenix. - willey101
hmmmm...let's see...uncertain future for the yotes + goat-mez and his $7.3m contract?
goat-mez and a 2012 #1 draft to phoenix
for
a 7th-round pick |

I'd trade Plek if it were to get a legit 1st line center. |

might want to look at the contract again. We'd only have to give up a 2nd.
edit: also, considering no one anywhere outside of mexico (yes, including alaska) thinks gomez is anything but a waste of air. why do you think it's clever to try to bash him? |

Don't laugh. Phoenix scouts have been looking at him for 3 games now. Guess they are hoping he shows life because of his $5 million price tag next season and $4.5 a season later and $7.4 cap hit. |

I'm not sold on DD even though the guy produces. Ask Cole and Pacioretty and they say they owe it to DD. |

Honestly if that was it.......done.
We have LTIR and will next year as well with Markov injured perpetually. I like Roy alot. I think he'd fit nicely with Cole and Pacioretty. I also despise Weber. |

you're poopting me right? The sabres are having a bad year after significant changes. they need some tweeking and will be fine next year. The habs suck, big time. If not for Price, we are almost at columbus level |

We would haev to take some salary back AK probably expiring contract. Why do you hate Weber? Is he the same as our Weber? Terrible defensively? |
