Simple. The guy is not on the team i root for, so the other guy we are getting in return must be better. In this case i do think Plek has a more complete game they Roy.

Montreal desperately needs PP help. Making a lateral 'hockey trade' just doesn't seem to help that situation at all.

IF we are going after a Roy for PP help (don't know enough about him to say he would help or not) .. it's for prosects/picks.

Don't laugh. Phoenix scouts have been looking at him for 3 games now. Guess they are hoping he shows life because of his $5 million price tag next season and $4.5 a season later and $7.4 cap hit.
