Only nobody in the media is actually saying they plan on doing that. They are saying they should do it. Big difference and Geoff Molson himself said he would not bury the contract.
- willey101

really??? Dreger, the guys on XM, etc etc etc

and burying a contract is sending someone to the minor league, like our owner did with Kotalik, buying someone out is not burying

Question for ya'll

We wanted Tallinder, tydman, Connolly, Butler, Neids, Rivet all gone and we got what we wanted.

Now were an awful team. Who are we as Sabres fans to wish away Derek Roy? Are we really going to be a better team?

It really does not matter what we think... Decisions are made by management not us fans................ If they feel Roy is worth keeping then they will keep him. Hockey General Manager is not on any of our resumes....... I was told this same thing earlier..... Oh, and I was also told I am a moron......... Carry on....

As per Kevin Snow the Sabres are having an optional practice in St Louis right now, there are 14 skaters on the ice (including Ennis and Kaleta in non-contact jerseys) and both goalies.

Obviously that means a few other skaters are not there, but no word on if D. Roy was one of them

Again.....media has suggested Montreal does it but there has been nothing out of Montreal endorsing this. All indications by the GM and owner suggest Montreal will keep it as status quo. So yes Dreger and every other analyst including fans have suggested it has to be done but the management team says the opposite.

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAH.
You guys spend nearly 2 weeks blasting Roy, saying he's a cancer-lazy-useless-heartless-soft-small-entitled and injury prone.
Now all of a sudden he's a 80 point player-fast-a good PP/Pk guy and far superior to Pleks.

You guys are a sad excuse of a team/fan base.

If it rubs off on other players trade those pussies too. If I had a bad attitude at work because 1 guy acted like a douchebag I would expect to get poop canned. These guys get paid a (frank) of a lot more than I do. I'm fed up with this 'locker room cancer' poop. It's just another of a long list of excuses for these players.

Now he will remind you he didn't take part in that.

RIGHT, every Vancouver fan interviewed didn't have anything to do with the violence.

Sure just like 293,000 people in Buffalo were at the greatest comeback game too.

Thats kind of my origional point.

Everyone was so sure Connolly was the problem or Lydman's turnovers. People just kept saying "I don't care what happens as long as THAT GUY doesn't play here anymore"

Now we are in one of our worst seasons ever in our worst roach stretch of hockey ever. Now does anybody care what happens?

Trading Roy tonight or tommorow won't change the losing culture just like brining in Leino didn't either.

Blow the whole dam thing up.

I'm all for trading Roy or any other player if it benefits the team. If they trade him because he is a 'locker room cancer' this team really is just full of gutless pansies. I can barely stomach them at this point.

Wait tho, if Roy sucks and is a big part of the problem, shouldn't we keep him to help tank the season?

Riot photo's

Maybe you guys should take the hint!
Having a decade long management/coach that is an embarrassment to not only your team but the league in general and yet you do nothing but continuous to line these guys pockets!

Perhaps its time you took to the streets and burn a couple cars.

PS- if i did live in Vancouver at the time i could honestly say i would indeed take part in the riots
