Riot photo's
Maybe you guys should take the hint!
Having a decade long management/coach that is an embarrassment to not only your team but the league in general and yet you do nothing but continuous to line these guys pockets!
Perhaps its time you took to the streets and burn a couple cars.
PS- if i did live in Vancouver at the time i could honestly say i would indeed take part in the riots

- Whiskey-Tango No doubt. Seemed like a super awesome thing to take part in and then later be able to say I was there.

A large center great on faceoffs who can put up alright numbers? - HotSauceBlueChs
I get, getting Roy off the team is great but Stoll is a UFA at seasons end who's a 3rd line center at best. We're getting fleeced on that deal in a big way. |

The thing i find comical about these riot remarks in terms of Vancouver is the fact that any and every MAJOR Canadian fan base has rioted numerous times over many decades of SCF loses.
Montreal- Too many to count
Toronto- Too old to be acknowledged
Vancouver-Twice
In terms of Ottawa's lose in SCF, they didn't riot due to the fact that the fan base is non existent. Sure alot of people followed the team but they where all band-wagoners. Personally id prefer a one night riot over losing 80% of the fans in the same time frame.

Its true, we never have fans in our arena... well, I guess 4000 if I do the math correctly.
Seriously though, it did upset me deeply that no one set our city on fire. Bunch of band wagoners, not true fans out there burnign cars, destroying store fronts... pains me to call myself a Sens fan. I don't even have a criminal record to show for it. |

Trade Roy for a first round pick and prospects, same with leopold. Hecht and Goose for second round of or third round picks. Trade Boyes 4 a third round or fourth round pick. Go into the draft With 3 first round picks, 3 second round picks, 3 third round picks, and 2 fourth round picks. Draft nothing but centers. |

If Cammalleri taught the league anything it's that even a player who has completely worn out his welcome on a team begging to get rid of him can be traded away for actual assets... |

assets like Rene Bourque? i know the guy brings sandpaper, but if this season has shown anything, he's a liability. |

He's 25 goal 25 assist guy that plays the penalty kill and is able to score on the pk. |

27 goal 50-55 points with grit and a 3.33M cap hit and a 2nd
or
20-27 goals, 50-60 points with nothing else, a douche, and a $6M cap hit |

Cammy obviously has the ability to be MUCH much better than Bourque and is, scarily, more consistent but he is also paid to be a premier player and is simply not. Even when he is on his game, he's not a game changer... |

While I think you're severly overrating what we can get for Roy (I'd be happy as a pig in poop for a 2nd round pick for him), your idea is correct.
Anything and everything that Buffalo does needs to be geared towards drafting Mikhail Grigorenko this year. We need to stock picks and be ready to make the deal that will land this C in our organization. |

xm home ice was talking about the kings today
how the team has no desire to win a game 6-1, that they are content to play a low scoring game and let it be decided in OT
The teams lack of drive when they go up 1 or 2 goals to push it further is what they think is a big problem with the team. Lean on their goalies too much and unlike the wings, sharks, hawks or nucks, never push themselves to bury a team. The guy mentioned that perhaps that is why they do not hive the mindset to be playoff ready and compete with the big boys in the post season.
Reminded me an awful lot like the sabres |
