we could talk about the ASG draft. I'm not sure what was worse...the draft show or the prep I was doing last night for my Colonoscopy today. Both were somewhat nauseating and sickeningly sweet. One of them seemed like it took forever and forced me to run to the bathroom every few minutes and the other one was prescribed by my doctor.

I'm not racist, nor is Canadian a race. He was just saying that people think Canada is all sweet and nice, and I said that wasnt the first thing I think of when I think of Canada.
Dont get me wrong. I like canada. I want to move there one day. But It has embarrassed itself more then a couple times, and I think Habs fans give all Canadians bad reps. - RooNosHockey

Ummm... just the second time Canada has embarrassed themselves? Did you not hear about Vancouver last year? Or Montreal. Both rioting in the streets... I dont think Canada has as nearly nice a reputation as you think. When I think Canada I think stuck up, dirt bag Frenchie... You can thank the Hans fans for that.
No I would say Canada has done plenty to embarrass itself... Its just no-one in America cares so its not a big issue here. - RooNosHockey
It just shows your ignorance for pretty much defining a country by the acts of there hockey teams and fans? Figure it out bud

and Philly fans nearly beat a Rangers fan to death after the Winter Classic. There are dirtbags in every country.

Your just reading into it the wrong way. I dont think all canadians are like Hockey fans. I was just pointing out that people dont automatically think flowers and bunnies when they hear canadian. The First thing I think of is the Habs fans... But I know the people arent all like that... Its just the first thing that pops into my mind. Just like when I think of New York the first thing I think of is jerk Yankee Fans, then the second thing I think of is being robbed on the subway.
Actually people in Florida are crazy... If you ever look at like the craziest crimes, like half of them are from Florida... Its scary... - RooNosHockey
I want to move to like Utah... Nothing ever happens in Utah.

funny...First thing I think of when i think of Canada is beer, maple syrup, and bacon. Maybe I'm just hungry.

1. Habs fans are from a province that doesn't even consider themselves apart of the country.
2. French Canadians are a different breed...the rest of the country really can't stand them

I was just kidding about Florida. Tho, you might have a point. My 80 year old aunt in Del Boca Vista is pretty nuts.

I know. What is your point? They are still Canadian, and unfortunately the Habs fans I have seen, at hockey games of course, have been rude and obnoxious. So my only real interactions with Canadians, other then my friend's sister's Fiance', was a negative experience. Thus, the first reaction when I hear canada is not positive. Doesnt mean that I cant see past that first impression, cause i think Canada in General is a nice place. A bit too cold for me... But as the original poster said, it's not all that different from the US.
