Bruins have the cup we don't, great team win and yes we should enjoy the 2 pts. As far as someone saying we should get the pick in next years draft, I disagree we have enough picks that Darcy didn't do the right thing with. Make a move or 2 at the dead line to try and boost the team. My opinion |

'that' guy says: promote James Patrick and trade Vanek. Thats why we won, right? |

This title just shows how much Buffalo and their fans are a bunch of crybabies. Keep patting yourself on back all the way to the golf course in April when you don't make the playoffs.

Its a nice win in a long season, but 2 pts is 2 pts. See you in March. - Cape Breton Bruins
Unfortunately we won't see you in mid-April to June.

they scored the exact same number of goals as the sabres last year. the sabres have a much more skilled group up front than the b's do, and did last year as well.
their d was a LOT better last year but this year, when the sabres are healthy, they boast a very good d core that almost matches the bruins.
and miller is ultimately a better goalie than thomas, thomas got super hot last year and that was the ONLY reason they won the cup. he single handedly won it for them last year - adubs14

Bruins started the game pretty good I felt, the Bergeron line had a few good chances and carried the play and shot totals. Then Campbell tipped in the first goal and the Lucic goal was IMO wrongfully disallowed and thats when the wheels came off. No excuse because the game was still in reach but the second period was one of the worst I have seen them play in awhile and I credit the Sabres for most of that because they did a good job negating the forecheck with their breakout.

i agree completely on the bruins goal being called back...that was a goal. i didnt see any contact between miller and peverely. that being said, ill take some home cooking from the refs once in a while
but the bruins fell apart after that...they looked like the sabres of a month or 2 ago. not a good look for julien or his team. |

He isn't completely wrong... If it wasn't for Thomas playing lights out and Luongo playing like absolute crap..
offensively Vancouver was better than Boston..
defensively Boston was better than Vancouver..
It all came down to goaltender.. |

the NHL regular season is long and is full of peaks and valley's for virtually every team.
They started 3-7
then went 25-4-1
The team is somewhere in between and I like their odds against pretty much any team in a 7 game series. |

The Bruins outworked the Canucks in every facet of the game starting in game #3.
Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard. There was more to it then just the goalies, Luongo had 2 SO's for christ sakes
The B's wanted it more, and they earned the cup. |

im not in any way saying the bruins are a bad team, but they have hit a pretty rough stretch lately (save for wash game sunday). they also ran into a buffalo team playing pretty well as of late.
id be VERY surprised if the b's dont come out flying against nashville at home on saturday. should be a good game to watch, ive got tickets about 20 rows up. hoping to see a hardest shot competition break out between weber and chara |

of course they would have won two cups in a row if it wasn't for the Kessel trade. |

Like the B's fans on here are saying; when the long regular season ends you will have Boston and the Rag's atop the standings. Then there will be a glaring separation between the #2 seed and the rest of the pack. The only wildcard possibly being Pittsburgh with the whole Crosby situation.
I too like Boston's chance against any team in a 7 game series, even the Rag's. Boston now knows how to do it.
Sabre fan's, lets take the 2 points, shut up and enjoy. |

Doesn't surprise at all that Ryder was the one to dent it too. He probably smoked an ounce right before that.
