Another Leaf fan told me that the Leafs have the deepest pool of blue chip prospects, how do the Coyotes prospects match up? |

Not well I'm afraid. The Leafs depth is unprecedented. |

Good blog Adam.
You left out Andy Miele though. I think the Yotes should bring up Rundblad and permanently bench Morris. |

They will all become star players in Québec. - Dgrdnr
Only if Seattle trades them there. |

Would love the Yotes to stay in the desert but if they are forced to move I like Seattle. The Totems were a great old whl team back in the 60's and 70's. They could easily be a financial fit for the nhl. Hope something good happens in the desert as I do not want to see Shane Doan retire yet. If they move to Quebec I doubt he moves with them. |

I can see Rundblad being used in a trade of assets as he is very similar to Yandle who is going nowhere. Ekman Larsson offensive game will get better and he is more complete than any of them. I think Rundblad was mainly let go by the Sens because of Karlsson who logs big minutes and is a budding superstar not to mention they were looking for a second line center in Turris. Turris has done okay but I am still not sold on him in Ottawa. He will never be a first line center and will likely lose #2 spot to Zibinajad as early as next year. Currently I would say Alfredsson is carrying Turris. Turris is not very gritty and is quite soft really. I give the win to Yotes on this one as the return for Rundblad someday will be very nice. If not traded I think he could give Yandle a run in a couple years. Just my opinion on a quiet nhl monday. |

Thanks Adam for another nice blog. I sure am pizzed that Mike Smith is not getting full credit for his remarkable season. In Philly all you hear is that Coyotes system has made Smith great and that is why Byz was great. I disagree as Smitty has stole a lot of games this year and gives the Yotes a chance to win every night. Bryz has so much money now he forgot how to play goal. In his defence though I said last year the flyers are terrible in support of their goalies and I can see any goalie getting rattled there. Smith is our mvp followed by Whitney abd Vrbata. |

Go Yotes, four post in a row has to be a new record for me. Breakout year for a lot of Coyotes and have been really impressed wth Lauri Korpikoski and coach Tippet has used all his players to their potential. |

The system obviously helps, some shots come from the outside and rebounds are harder to come by, but yes, Smith has been amazing as well. Some of those saves are just nasty and he's just so effective at using his 6'4 frame. Goalies are bat poop crazy my friend, I don't think anybody will ever really understand them |
