Well if it is to tell people you just did your nails or your period just started then yes, it is the bottom barrel of society. I think it can be a wealth of information, especially come trade deadline.

I love the gameday practice updates from the Penguins for line combos who is in, who is out, who is hurt, stuff like that.

i honestly think people underestimate what some of our guys can bring back. put the personal feelings aside and you'll see gaustad, leo, even roy and stafford could bring back some good pieces.

I agree with you. Western culture is pretty lame right now. Social media in itself is a invaluable asset though when used in the right ways. As seen with the Arab Spring riots, exposures of various injustices, brutalities etc...

Hell we can all complain about Twitter, Facebook and whatnot but we cant forget at this very second we are part of it....

We take time out of our day to use this social forum to talk about a professional sports league and post funny pictures of Olli eating waffles. Not trying to argue with you but don't forget.
