That goal is on Hoss, should have been able to play the man at the point rather than trying to chip the puck for a break away. Nobody's perfect.

Hossa has to be smarter. Huge mistake. That's how Dallas beats you. They wait around for you to screw up. Hossa is still playing well tonight so it won't surprise me if he factors into the Hawks next goal.

Between the defense and goalie - can't give up the lead and the tie with 10 minutes left.

Thats on the D there, gotta move those guys out, they aren't even big guys. Can't do much if anything on a deflection but hope it hits you.

They're sleep-walking in the 3rd. Stars shots in the 3rd are more than the 1st 40 minutes. Now 3-1....$hit !!!

Hawks quit this period. Did they think Dallas was going to lay down? Awful.

And you can forget Dallas being sellers. They're in this thing.

2 points wasted tonight against a team that brought absolutely nothing for 50 minutes. What a shame.

Yes but - on all 3 goals.

Defense just a disaster in the 3rd after being outstanding for almost 50 minutes. No Hawk offensive zone play at all.

What happened to the offense: 2 wins in 3 games but only 5 goals scored (not empty net).

Outplayed them for 50 minutes, destroyed in the last 10.

I know that was technically finished by ericsson but do the blackhawks lead the league in goals off of their own players?

Further evidence that Leddy should be handling minimal (third pairing) minutes on this team. He's a liability in his own zone.

Although it's not just him. The entire team has been garbage in this period. A loss well deserved. Dallas was the grittier, tougher team and got the garbage goals it takes to win.

Hossa getting caught cheating changed this whole game. Got completely outworked in the 3rd since then, crappy loss. Regardless, forget about it and play balls out in So Cal this weekend and come back with 4 pts.

I was going to say this earlier. Spot on. This was the start of the team folding like a cheap suit.

Hawks didn't seen interested all game vs an undermanned Star team.

Really didn't challenge Backmann all nite....and then folded in the 3rd.

Off to LA....

Can't do that, that's the same crap that got them in the 9 game losing skid in the first place. After that they just got outworked, plain and simple. Also thought they played the 3rd period "not to lose" which in turn they lost. They got to start stepping on team's throats when they got them down.

You think stretch passes that never connect, no physical presence, and an inability to skate the puck out of his own zone is a problem?

In all honesty I only saw the last period of this game so I don't have much to judge Hammer on, but I'd really like to see him dealt not just for his average play but the price we're paying.

Hawks got the puck back, and then Hossa turned it over instead of clearing it.

Two errors by him on that play.

But it was a team loss - they had nothing after that n

Yes, 4 point in the Southland.

Really surprised that Hossa would make such a poor decision defensively on that first goal. He failed to get the puck out not once, but twice. That play turned the momentum and the game. On the second goal, it looked like Bolland lifted his leg when he had a chance to block that shot. That's a BAD loss. Now you have to go on the road to play against two teams that are just as desperate, if not more, than Dallas for wins. Without Toews in the lineup, this team is very ordinary. Don''t tell Stan that though.
