I've seen that Carter-Vancouver rumor a few times now. It must have at leats been talked about between Gillis and Howson so that is a little shocking to me.

This Columbus presser has me excited. Even if we don't get one of Nash/Carter, at least this might start making the dominos fall.

Just sayin, they are guys the Hawks like. Heard the Hawks offered Frolik for Purcell. Stevie said how about Bolland. End of conversation. But heard Hawks have talked about Purcell (at least) since then.

Purcell has played very well since being on A line with Stamkos. Then again, a dead monkey with a banana up it butt would look on Stamkos' line

No way on Earth is Clarkson on any intelligent GM's mind. They would have to sell the farm for him at the moment. Lou wouldn't part with him. He is lighting it up this year and has the grit the Devils will need come spring. He isn't an elite player but he is the Devils version of Lucic and teams need that to win. I know he obviously isn't as good as Lucic, but he's a very similar player.

Lubo's contract would put the Hawks right up to the cap so some big cash would have to come back which throws my trade wish out the window. Lubo for Hayes and Kruger or Saad. Lubo for Sharp and Hayes might work for the Hawks cap-wise. Either way, I'd want that Hayes kid.

No way on Earth is Clarkson on any intelligent GM's mind. They would have to sell the farm for him at the moment. Lou wouldn't part with him. What happened to the days of pregame blogs about the upcoming game? Lineup changes, injury updates etc. ive heard Hammer is back, do we know who he is pushing out of the lineup? Who is he skating with?

Also, Carter Hutton signed a two way contract with the Hawks today.

Some of this rumor-mongering is out of control. I personally can't wait for the deadline; we can shift our focus out of this tier two reporting (speculating) and look forward to the playoffs.

Go Hawks! Need a big win against a team that has given us problems. Looking forward to (hopefully) seeing some progress with the PP and for Crawford to continue to show his mettle.
