This has nothing to do with this forum but i found this website, and had a thought. lets say the sabres get a top 10 pick ,lets say 7th and you have Nashvilles pick, that's probably anywhere from 20-25th.look into the second round Buffalo has 2 picks(Buffalo and Calgary) so probably 2 pick in the top 15.If i were the sabres lets trade that Nashville pick and Buffalo's Second round for a top 3 pick maybe throw in Roy or something.Get Mikhail Grigorenko with the first pick, then with the 7th get Alex Galchenyuk.
Just a thought. Here's the website if anybody wants to check it out.

That's kind of why I think he should play on a line with Pommer. Pommer is so good at positioning that he could learn a thing or two from him. Plus then he's not as much of a liability because Pommer is already covering the defensive aspects of things. Gives him a little more room to work without worrying. Kinda like when Briere was here. - HonkFortheGoose
Honestly play him with Vanek and Pommer the rest of the season.
Lets see what the kid has.
Just my opinion of course. |

If we're drafting in the top ten and want to move up, that pick will have to be included.
I can't remember a team having a top 3 pick going into the draft and trading out of the top ten for a bottom 3rd of the draft pick, a 2nd and a player.
like the idea just not realistic. - dadeadhead
Brian Burke did it in 1999 for the Sedin twins. |

That's my thought. I figure 1 of 2 things could happen. He picks up good habits from Pominville, or he picks up bad habits from Vanek. |

Both numbers are cursed for the Sabres.
19 Tim Connolly
12 Ales Kotalik - dadeadhead
right, i know what you were saying and was countering with "he likes yzerman and yzerman was pretty good." timmy isn't on the team anymore and kotalik is in siberia. i'm not going to be defeatist because some kid picked a number of a player or players i didn't like at one time.

IMO
If he wasn't a lock already. Karlsson has bent the Norris trophy over and had his way with it....twice.
If it was up to me I would but his name on the MVP ballot as well. The guy is one of the main reasons Ottawa has had such a successful season based on where they were at last season. - HotSauceBlueChs
he's not going to win Norris imo . mike green never won it |

I'm gonna go with Ehrhoff next year.
Anyone know if they plan on giving someone else Goose's letter for the rest of the year? |

Not exactly. Chicago got (frank)ed on the deal.
I'm sorry but even though Darcy had a good day yesterday, I'm not convinced he can pull this off.
1999-Jun-26 Daniel Sedin's draft pick rights traded from Atlanta Thrashers with round 3 pick in the 2000 draft to Vancouver Canucks for round 1 pick in the 1999 draft (Patrik Stefan)
1999-Jun-26 Pavel Brendl's draft pick rights traded from Tampa Bay Lightning to Vancouver Canucks for round 1 pick in the 1999 draft (Pavel Brendl), round 3 pick in the 1999 draft (Brett Scheffelmaier) and round 3 pick in the 1999 draft (Jimmie Olvestad)
1999-Jun-26 Pavel Brendl's draft pick rights traded from Chicago Blackhawks to Vancouver Canucks for Bryan McCabe and conditional draft pick |

I think 10 should for sure. He's been dynamite since coming back from injury. I like 24, but 10 is gonna be here for longer. Maybe he'll elevate his game even more. |
