Isn't Gaustad a UFA? Miller is upset they traded a guy away who likely only had 20 games left with the team anyways?
Get real Miller, your GM pulled off a HEIST getting a 1st for Gaustad.
Improving club >>> Complacent club. These are the kinds of trades Buffalo needs Darcy to make. |

Miller needs to either keep his mouth shut or ask for his own trade out of town. His act must be getting old in Buffalo. |
|
|
|
Millers response should have been "he was a great teammate and i wish him the best of luck"
that is all he needed to say.. |

No doubt, great trade by Buffalo. But I understand Miller's feelings, hate to see a good fried & teammate dealt away. Sounds like Gaustad was a real solid guy in the room. I was hoping the Rangers could swing a deal for him yesterday. |

that shakey voiced bean pole does realize there's good potential for Gaustad to come back on July 1st, right? i mean, Gaustad talks about how much he loves it here, loves the team, teammates, yadda yadda. you would think he'd come back if the opportunity presented itself. if he doesn't sign here, it's probably going to be because he wanted too much. |

Yeah I get how he must be feeling too, it can't be fun for anyone. All he had to say though is that it sucks seeing your friends get traded away, there's nothing wrong with that. For some reason, he felt that he needed to criticize his GM for making a really good trade (a GM who's not necessarily known for making really good trades). Saying dumb stuff like that to the media doesn't help anyone. |

Mixed emotions are obviously gonna happen. Professional Athletics are a business. Yes, a 1st for Goose is deff a win. I don't think Miller had to publicly say what he said. Im sure it is tough when team mates get traded. Just wish them luck and the best. On a side note, i was listening to Goose's audio on the Preds website. He is really gone. kind of shocking.... |

eh, his demeanor in the audio was not nearly as whiny as the written quotes made him sound. |
